  • In whole class instruction, students take notes on the graphic organizer portion of analyzing prompts. Review the writing terms. Direct students to draw the parts of an essay. Use the practice prompt to write a thesis, parts of a body paragraph, and conclusion. Pair-Share between each part for students to think of Thesis, TS, examples, CS, and conclusion.
